A stately home that's visible only from Little Traverse Bay in Harbor Springs is on the market.

"It's all custom-built," said Will Baker, the listing real estate agent for the home. "The current owner was really the designer of the house. Everything in it is just spectacular."

The price: $10.9 million.

The 13,400 square-foot, single-family house is located on Trillium Trail and has six bedrooms and seven full bathrooms along with three half bathrooms.

Baker said the house is perfect for a quiet weekend for two or a family weekend with 15 people. "Every room and square foot of the house is usable, thought-out and amazing," he said.

The home is owned by Allan D. Gilmour, the former Ford executive and Wayne State University President, and Eric C. Jirgens, a prominent Bloomfield Hills interior designer, property records show

Built in 2003, the home has a septic sewer system and well water.

Despite being only 15 years old, it boasts 300-year-old chestnut floors, 300-year-old Jerusalem stone flooring and a 13th century French fireplace.

"It's just crazy," Baker said. "You're not going to find things like that just anywhere. The floors, woodwork, mantle, views, library ... it is honestly hard to pinpoint a specific feature. And it's just north of Harbor Springs, one of the most picturesque towns in the state."

The house was first listed in June 2017 with a $12.9 million price tag.
